Daniela Chana, born in 1985 in Vienna, holds a doctoral degree in comparative literature from University of Vienna. Her short stories and poems have been published in numerous literary magazines, newspapers and anthologies. In 2006, she won the audience award at the Hattinger Förderpreis für junge Literatur. She has presented her poems at various international poetry festivals, such as the Lyrikfestival W:ORTE 2016 in Innsbruck. In the winter term of 2015, she was teaching at University of Salzburg. Her most recent publication is: „Erika Mann und die Pfeffermühle – Dadaismus und die Anfänge des Cabarets in der Schweiz“ (Wien: danzig & unfried, 2016).
