Hannah van Binsbergen (*Haarlem, The Netherlands, 1993) is a poet and writer of fiction. She was the youngest person and only debutant to receive the prestigeous VSB poetry prize of the first collection of poetry, Kwaad Gesternte, along with the Belgian Herman de Coninck prize for best poetry debute. In 2017, she has written a radio play for the Dutch national radio about the Russian child poet Nika Turbina, and initiated and  contributed to a book introducing Turbina to a Dutch audience. Van Binsbergen is currently working on a novel. Her interests include magic, sex and socialism. Poems from Kwaad Gesternte have been translated into English, French, Russian and Romanian.
