The European Poetry Festival returns to the National Poetry Library for its ninth year on the very night of the Midsummer (Jaanipäev) celebration, where three poets from Estonia will present brand new live literary works, made with British poets, as premieres for the night. This will be a chance to hear from some of the most exciting figures from one of Europe's most interesting literary cultures as the UK’s biggest celebration of continental poetry in performance, experimentation and collaboration presents another brilliant event at one of London’s most iconic venues. Featuring:

  • Triin Paja and Rushika Wick

  • Jan Kaus and Damian Le Bas

  • Jürgen Rooste and Ivor Kallin

  • Cat Paronjan and Caitlin Nugent

Supported by the Embassy of Estonia in London.
Curated by SJ Fowler with thanks to Marika Goldman.

This is the second Estonian poetry celebration at the EPF, with the first in 2025 a remarkable debut. See here for that event www.europeanpoetryfestival.com/estonia
