The EPF summer festival saw 11 events with over 100 performances and nearly 1000 people in attendance. In our 8th year, the EPF was once again was a brilliant, intense, playful series of events, centred around collaboration, literary liveness and experimentation - a continuation of one of the grandest celebrations of European poetry ever to take place in Britain. Over 150 poets, many visiting from across Europe, presented new works at a series of ‘Camarade’ events celebrating the poetry of Latvia, Flanders, Lithuania, Cyprus, Austria, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland at venues such as the National Poetry Library, National Centre for Writing, The Poetry Society, Open Eye Gallery and beyond. Another year of communal, innovative, energetic happenings, thanks to all who attended and participated.
