European Poetry Festival : Latvia
July 1st 2026 : National Poetry Library, London.
In the iconic National Poetry Library, four of Latvia’s most exciting poets came to the UK to perform their work, as well as brand new collaborations made with British poets, just for this event. This was an energised event of collaborative poetic performance and literary readings, from a nation that has championed our festival from it’s inception.
Featuring Māra Ulme and Jonathan Boyd / Krišjānis Zeļģis and SJ Fowler / Agnese Graudiņa and Alex Murphy / Alise Bogdanova and Sophia Rahim
Supported by Latvian Literature. Curated by SJ Fowler with thanks to Ildze Jansone
