Swedish poetry returns to the European Poetry Festival! This Camarade event features new collaborative readings and performances, made for the night, celebrating visiting Swedish poets, Jörgen Gassilewski and Anna Hallberg. Alongside their solo readings and new works made with local poets, multiple pairs of poets will present new live literature in the literary and experimental tradition. Hosted in one of London’s most brilliant venues, this will be a brilliant night to kick off the 2026 winter edition of the European Poetry Festival. Featuring:

This is the eighth Swedish poetry celebration for the European Poetry Festival following events in 2025, 2024, 2022 and 2021, as well events (pre-festival formation) in 2017, entitled Fiender, and in Stockholm and Malmo.
