For the very first time the 2026 European Poetry Festival celebrated one of the continent’s most considerable poetic nations, Romania. Romanian poets, both residing and writing in the UK and those visiting from Romania, presented brand new literary poetry and performance collaborations, all created for the night! Supported by the brilliant Romanian Cultural Institute, this was an intense and playful night of live literature on a sweltering saturday night in the very heart of London, at The Poetry Society in Covent Garden.
