The European Poetry Festival returns to the National Poetry Library for its seventh year as the UK’s biggest celebration of continental poetry in performance, experimentation and collaboration. Come along to hear new work by contemporary Norwegian poets and their British based counterparts.
Supported by NORLA and The Royal Norwegian Embassy in London, this will be a unique exploration of the performative, literary and cross-lingual potential of 21st century European poetry.
The festival has a rich history with Norwegian poetry, going back to before it’s official beginnings, to 2010. In recent years we have hosted remarkable Norwegian poetry celebrations
